Niigata, the undisputed ramen kingdom, has a variety of ramen shops with different characteristics, such as soy sauce, ginger soy sauce, miso, salt, fatty back fat, light, etc. This time we visited Ramenya Kotobuki in Nishi Ward, Niigata City. As the sign says, this shop sells ramen with sesame!

Even within the prefecture, which is crammed with various ramen shops, there are not many ramen shops that put 'sesame' at the forefront.

Now it's time to enter the shop.

Almost all the seats are in the tatami room. It's relaxing~.

In addition to sesame, the menu also includes regular soy sauce and miso. However, 'sesame' is the main selling point here!

While waiting for your order, something on the wall explains the benefits of sesame seeds.

Hmmm... anyway, they say it's good for your health and beauty! Eating sesame ramen while being healthy and good for your beauty! Isn't that great~ (laughs)

In the meantime, the ramen came!

One is ordinary ramen.

The other is sesame vegetable ramen.

Now, the real food!



The noodles are sticky~! The sesame flavour is good~! The soup is rich and tasty too! I know that if you drink too much ramen soup, you take in too much salt, so it's better to drink in moderation, but I can't stop eating the ramen (laughs).

Oh - it was delicious! I should have had a large serving... This is addictive!

Note that it's open until the evening!
