To our surprise, the editorial team received an enquiry about a meeting of masked riders in Niigata, so we swooped in at a moment's notice!

The information was received from a motorbike shop called Sagami Shokai in Higashi Ward, Niigata City.

This is the shop where those "Niigata riders" ask for bike maintenance. And on this day, the riders who make Niigata lively are said to gather here.

'What? There are that many masked riders in Niigata?" What?

Yes! In fact, there are several riders in Niigata who are doing justice work that people don't know about!

The three appeared in front of the Sagami Trading Company after closing!

After hearing about "Chiba Man", who became the talk of the world beyond Chiba with his Batman cosplay, "Couldn't the riders of Niigata do something about it?" Agito asked. The first meeting was organised under the auspices of Mr Sagami, president of Sagami Shokai.

The group then moved to the Yakiniku House Yanagizuki next to the Sagami Chamber of Commerce to start the meeting.

Kampai! The riders have to drive, so naturally they are non-alcoholic.

By the way, this is the first time the three have met! It is truly a historic moment.

The star of the show is also this man, Niigata Rider! He has been riding around Niigata for more than 20 years and has been a major figure in the Niigata Rider world. I was also very excited to be able to hear him speak for the first time.

He became a Niigata Rider more than 20 years ago. He started as a rider "because I liked Kamen Rider" and now has nine different suits and masks! The Niigata Riders who appeared in Niigata on motorbikes were in fact the same person!

And when Negicco, RYUTist and others perform at events, they are often spotted by Niigata Rider, and when we asked them about this, they said it was because they felt they had something in common with local heroes and local idols. But I thought they definitely like idols.

Niigata riders were also often stopped by the police. However, since there are no legal problems, they are now a familiar presence in the city of Niigata, with phrases such as 'thank you for your efforts' and 'sorry for stopping you'.

Both Kameda's Agito and Tochio Amazons are senior Niigata riders, and both say that they have always admired Niigata riders. Kameda's Agito wanted to become an apprentice.

The Niigata Riders then gave the riders tips on how to be a rider. 'Do not go to the toilet while transforming. Do not drink. Do not talk", and I was surprised by his professionalism in each of these! When they do these things, they are told that they have to untransform and "turn back into human beings". All of this is done with the aim of "not destroying the dreams of the children". Both Agito and the Amazons were impressed by this professionalism.

Incidentally, the true identity of Kameda Agito is the representative of Koike Candle Shop in Kameda. The Tochio Amazons are working openly that their true identity is a representative of Bishamondo Honpo, a fried tofu shop in Tochio.

And as they enjoyed their grilled meat, the three of them were excited around the function of their respective suits - all three of them are quite fond of Kamen Rider. And I could tell that they spend a lot of time on their particular suits and helmets. It's a fearsome inquisitiveness and love of Rider!

The riders resolved to make Niigata even more exciting in the future. Niigata Rider commented that he too would like to see a Kamen Rider riding a motorbike. I'd love to see the three of them touring together. (I hear it's difficult because the helmets need to be able to comply with the law.)

The first rider meeting held this time was the first. They hope to hold two or three more meetings in the future and increase the number of riders active in Niigata.
