Tsunan Jozo K.K. (Tsunan-machi, Naka-uonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture / Representative Director: Atsushi Kabasawa) has commercialised the GO PIN Bottle series, a series of one-gouple size mini-bottles of sake that can be capped and optimised for travelling, with a line-up of six different sake qualities and flavours, and began selling on the web on 28 October 2022. The series was launched on the web on 28 October 2022.
What is "travelling sake"?
The taste of sake depends on its environment, landscape and emotions.
The product was commercialised with the aim of giving people the opportunity to sip sake and enjoy their trip in a tipsy mood, as a reminder of each scene.
It is small enough to be carried in one hand, so it won't get in the way of your bag, and you can start your journey with a bottle of your favourite drink.
The design is stylish and the bottle size is comfortable for women to hold in their hands when travelling.
Rather than enjoying sake for the sake of getting drunk, the aim is to enjoy sake in different situations, with the taste changing with each landscape.

One-cup bottles that can be capped
Bottle size is the same as a regular cup of sake, one cup (180 ml) style.
The cap type lid allows even those who are not strong drinkers to taste and enjoy the drink slowly, as the lid can be opened and closed immediately after each sip, rather than being stuck in place once the lid is opened until the drink is finished.

「つなん」の酒造りは主に雪のシーズンにのみ行います。
雪に覆われた環境下で仕込むことで、雪が空気中の塵を絡めて落とし、低温多湿を一定に保ち、微生物のコントロールがしやすいことで、良い酒づくりができる環境と言われています。

Tsunan Brewery is committed to brewing sake from rice grown in Tsunan, which is produced within the region. Tsunan's rice paddies are located at an altitude of around 300 metres and the temperature difference between day and night is large, making the rice suitable for sake brewing, with a large heart white and large grains. The source of the brewing water comes from the snow that falls on the mountains at an altitude of 2,000 metres and is rich, limpid water that has been selected as one of the 100 best waters in the country. This water is 'ultra-soft', with fine, mellow particles, and makes excellent brewing water with nutrients from the earth.

About the unexplored town of Tsunan
新潟県津南町は、長野県との県境に位置する人口9000人ほどの小さな町です。
自然豊かな津南町の山間部に位置する津南醸造には、ときどき野生のカモシカが敷地に遊びに訪れます。
It is one of the world's heaviest snowfall areas, with 3-4 m of snow every year, and is characterised by Japan's largest river terraces, created in a staircase pattern by tributaries of the Shinano River, and is recognised as the Naeba Foothills Geopark.
Tsunan is home to both Ryugakubo, one of the 100 best waters in the country, and Mount Naeba, one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, and the cleanliness of the water is evidenced by the Tsunan water sold in convenience stores across the country.
Together with the neighbouring city of Tokamachi, it is known as Echigo-Tsumari and is the venue area for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.
The area around the Nakatsu River, which flows from Niigata to Nagano Prefecture, is a valley area, and the collective name for the villages living amongst the looming mountainsides and heavy snowfall is Akiyamago. Tsunan Brewery is located at the entrance to this Akiyamago.
