Tsunan Jozo K.K. (Head office: Tsunan-machi, Naka-uonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture, President: Atsushi Kabasawa, hereafter Tsunan Jozo) exhibited its own brand of sake, Go Vintage, at the Hong Kong Tasting Trendies® Sake Awards and won a bronze award in the old sake category.
On 4 May 2022, the results of the Hong Kong Tasting Trendies Sake Awards 2022 were announced and it was announced that 'Goh (GO) VINTAGE' won a silver award in the old wine category.
The Hong Kong Tasting Trendies Sake Awards 2022 has 17 categories including Junmai Daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Daiginjo, Ginjo, Junmai Sake, Honjozo/Normal Sake, Yamahai/Nama-Hashi, Unfiltered Nama-Hashimoto, Koshu, and Cold/Cold Aged Sake. The sake is evaluated and judged by a group of sake sommeliers and sake retailers in Hong Kong, and a user group including top management from global companies and media companies.
As Hong Kong is the second largest importer of Japanese sake in the world, the competition aims to educate consumers in the Hong Kong market and promote the development of new markets.
