This time we will introduce the Snow Field Carnival Nakasato, which takes place every year on the second Saturday of March at the Nakasato Kiyotsu Ski Resort in Tokamachi City.
Photogenic? For those of you with an eye for the photogenic, well, don't panic...
Let's start with the daytime events!
First of all, food! You can enjoy local food at the 'food street'. The homely atmosphere will make you feel at home.
It tastes exceptionally good when you eat it in a circle on the snow!
In the centre of the venue, visitors can enjoy free snow tubing on a specially built large snow slide and a dream balloon!
Also, as you would expect from a slope♪ Skiing and snowboarding are of course allowed! Some trails are closed due to the event, so please contact us for more information.
The candles, which are the stars of the event, are made by local people, volunteers and visitors☆ You can participate on the day of the event too!

Look at this - this spectacle! The moment when the warm light of so many candles that you can't even fit them in your field of vision gently sway like an ocean is a moving moment. Just gazing at it in a daze has an outstanding healing effect.
