Tsunan town has been experiencing good weather ☀️ According to the Japan Weather Association, the onset of the rainy season is expected to be later than usual. There are also concerns about water shortages in Niigata Prefecture due to low snowfall. We can only hope that this will have a minimal impact on crops. Two weeks have passed since the buckets of rice were planted at the entrance to the Tsunan Brewery and they are growing well.
Both Gohyakumangoku and Koshihikari rice are now over 15 cm tall and have started to divide into 🌿. We look forward to observing them every day 🎵Please take a look at the healthy rice plants when you visit the brewery! We have an announcement to make. The grass around the brewery is as healthy as the rice.
Four brewers have decided to cut the grass. We will therefore be closed all day on 15 June (Sat). Please note that we will be closed for the whole day on 15 Jun (Sat). Also, due to a power cut on 19 Jun (Wed), the shop and brewery tours will close at 14:00. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
