Café de Prime is a coffee shop on the ground floor of an apartment building opposite the main Niigata City Hall in Igakumachi, Chuo-ku, Niigata City. The curry here is delicious! So I went to eat it.

At first glance, this is an ordinary coffee shop. The interior of the shop seems quite spacious and there are many seats. As I recall, it has been occupied since this apartment building was built, so it has probably been in business for more than 20 years.

On this day, the rumoured 'Authentic Spicy Chicken Curry' is on the daily lunch menu and is said to be a bit of a bargain at 780 yen.

I took a seat and ordered 'Chicken curry, please'. I waited for a minute or two. While I was fiddling with my mobile phone for a minute, the food was already served. How quick!

Looks like an ordinary curry. It also comes with a salad.

Early speed and a bite.

Spicy! This is quite spicy!

It also contains small chicken bones, but they are well-cooked and can be easily chewed.

But it is still painful! You sweat quite a lot.

Now there seems to be a spicier menu further up the list.

A drink is included after the meal. I was right to ask for an iced coffee (sweat).

Still, for 780 yen, authentic curry, plus salad and a drink, seems like a pretty good deal.

There are many other delicious restaurants for lunch in the vicinity of Niigata City Hall. When you come near City Hall at lunchtime, why not look for Prime and other tasty restaurants?
