I visited Herbland Seasons in Nishigama-ku, Niigata City. Surrounded by nature, the shop also offers a spectacular view of the Sagata!

I couldn't help but exhale at the stylish terrace.

At the entrance is a sign that reads 'Herbal tea experience for 500 yen (free refills!)' ' sign at the entrance. It's amazing that it's 500 yen no matter how much you drink or how long you stay... It's definitely a great environment for reading, working and thinking. I wish there was one in my neighbourhood!

As well as the terrace, the interior of the restaurant is stylish and relaxing.

The ceiling is also decorated with herbs and flowers. Beautiful!

The toilets are also unique. According to the description, it is an 'eco-bio toilet that efficiently decomposes faeces and urine using the action of micro-organisms to create resources'. It is a wonderful consideration for nature.

Several varieties using different herbs can be tasted. The picture shows hibiscus and rosehip herbal tea. Drinking herbal tea in a shop surrounded by nature was unwaveringly enriching.

At this shop, you can make your own 'aroma insect repellent spray' for 600 yen. We have actually experienced this.

Lots and lots of aromatic oils!

First, place anhydrous ethanol in a spray container.

Next, we put in the aroma of your choice, drop by drop. The citronella aroma is used to repel insects, but other than that, you can add any aroma you like, in any combination you like. It is a fun time to smell each aroma and share your impressions with everyone.

When you have finished mixing the aroma, add the essential water and give it a light mix and you are ready to go. It's easy! It's also nice to sniff each other's aroma blends.

The restaurant overlooking the Sagata is really cosy and relaxing. Surrounded by nature, you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a moment of peace and tranquillity. Nishikamaku is a wonderful spot with hot springs, wineries, the sea and mountains, which makes me feel even stronger that I want to bring my friends and other people from outside the prefecture here. Recommendation!
