Thank you for reading to the end.
Whether you feel that something has changed after finishing this book, or that nothing has changed, it doesn’t matter either way. I didn’t write this book to provide answers, but to encourage us to explore these questions together.
If I could ask just one thing, it would be for you to take a moment to look down at your own feet.
What’s there where I live?
Where does the food we eat come from?
How much time has accumulated in the things we’re so used to seeing?
It’s not that it has no value.
It may simply be that they haven’t realised it yet.
It doesn’t take much effort to add more chairs.
It doesn’t take any special talent to find a new purpose for leftovers.
By simply carrying on doing what I enjoy, I found that, before I knew it, I was helping someone. Things like this are happening all over the local area.
Everything I have written in this book is an ongoing process.
I, too, am still digging deeper.
Stars were not constellations from the very beginning.
When someone found meaning in them and drew lines between them, they became constellations.
Right at your feet, as you read this, there is a star upon which no one has yet drawn a line.
What constellation will that star form part of?
I’d be delighted if you could show it to me one day.
